Patrick Brandt is a veteran enterprise software entrepreneur and executive with over 20 years of experience as a founder, CEO, investor, and board member of tech companies with a proven track record of rapid growth, expansion, acquisition, and exits. His passion is entrepreneurship and encouraging others from all socioeconomic backgrounds in their pursuits of building new businesses. He previously served as the co-founder of Get Shift Done, a nationally recognized nonprofit initiative founded during the COVID-19 pandemic to connect displaced hospitality workers to work paid shifts with food banks in need of labor in a period of unprecedented demand. He also served as president of Shiftsmart where he successfully implemented the company’s strategy of connecting the contingent workforce with employers seeking to source and manage their workforce requirements. Prior to co-founding Shiftsmart, Brandt was chairman and CEO of Telligent, which became Zimbra following the acquisition of Zimbra from VMWare (NYSE: VMW). Brandt subsequently sold Zimbra to Synacor (NASDAQ: SYNC) and Telligent to Verint Systems (NASDAQ:VRNT). In 2000 Brandt founded Skywire Software, and after 11 acquisitions, sold the company to Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL).
